Dr. Valeriya Steffey is a distinguished leader in innovative technology and business development, with a proven track record in cell line engineering, engineered animal models, and other R&D projects during her time at both Transposagen and Hera Biolabs. Currently, Dr. Steffey focuses on cell line development and engineering projects for clients in addition to in vitro studies. She is responsible for compliance with company safety and regulatory guidelines. Before joining the biotechnology industry 12 years ago, Dr. Steffey practiced medicine for a decade and performed extensive academic research at the start of her career. When she is not providing critical strategic direction to the Hera Team, she enjoys art and traveling.
